CLASS CURRICULUM

MASTERS PROGRAM

The Master’s Class is an intense, hands-on, seven-week course taught by Cynthia Bailey and other industry professionals, covering all aspects of the fashion industry and modeling. The student are handpicked by Cynthia Bailey and The Bailey Agency School of Fashion staff. This class is designed specifically for individuals who are seriously seeking a career in modeling or are already modeling and looking to take it to the next level.

INTENSITY MODELING

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Intensity class is our 2 day model boot camp for ages 14 and up. These 2 days of intense model basics and training will cover most of the information in our Master’s Class but in a much accelerated form. The class will be taught by The Bailey Agency School of Fashion staff and other industry professionals, covering aspects of the fashion industry, modeling, and acting.

ACTING 101

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Acting class is a 6 week course taught by Shon Middlebrooks. This is a beginner’s course for ages 14 and up and will focus on basic acting techniques. If you start with Acting 101 and show progress within the first and second week of class you could be added to Acting 102.

ACTING 102

This advanced acting class is a six week course taught by Shon Middlebrooks. This is an advanced course for ages 14 and up and will focus on basic and advanced acting techniques.

RUNWAY

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Runway class is for ages 14 and up and is designed to enhance a student’s confidence and walk on the runway. This class is only offered once or twice a month depending on the demand so schedule early to ensure your attendance.

MAKEUP 101

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Make-up 101 class is for ages 14 and up. The make-up class focuses on beginner techniques, sanitation, face shapes, and colors. **Supplies: Students are to bring the makeup they use on a daily basis, a vanity mirror that has lights and rubbing alcohol.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Professional Practice class is for ages 14 and up. The professional practice class focuses on how to prepare for an interview/casting/go-see, creating a portfolio, and other industry do’s and don’ts.

FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion model photography class is for ages 14 and up. The fashion model photography class is designed to help improve on posing techniques and focusing on technical guidelines for better photos. The class will be set as a mock photo shoot.

BASIC SEWING

In this 6 week course for ages 14 and up, you will learn hand stitching, taking proper body measurements, reading a pattern, pattern layouts, textiles, selecting patterns, facing, zippers and pockets. **Supplies needed: Students can purchase a basic sew kit from Hobby Lobby, Hancock Fabrics, or Walmart all should include the following. (Price range from $7.99-$11.99) Students will also need to provide a sewing machine which can also be found at Walmart for 89.00.

ADVANCED SEWING

This 6 week course for ages 14 and up is a continuation from Basic sewing. This class is open to all students who have mastered basic sewing or wish to build their skills in the curriculum. Students will learn how to make a pair pants, or skirt with a zipper and waist band, also learn how to gather, and make button-holes. **Supplies needed: Students can purchase a basic sew kit from Hobby Lobby, Hancock Fabrics, or Walmart all should include the following. (Price range from $7.99-$11.99) Students will also need to provide a sewing machine which can also be found at Walmart for 89.00.

ACTING FOR KIDS

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Acting for Kids is a class for ages 7-13. This is a beginner’s course and will focus on basic acting techniques.

YOUTH INTENSITY

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Youth Intensity class is our 4 week course for ages 7-13. We will cover the fashion industry basics of fashion, modeling, and acting. This program also focuses on self-esteem, confidence, health and beauty, and runway. The model boot camp will be held on Saturday from 9am – 12pm.

RUNWAY FOR KIDS

The Bailey Agency School of Fashion Runway for Kids is for ages 7-13 and is designed to enhance a student’s confidence and walk on the runway. This class is only offered once a month or twice depending on the demand so schedule early to ensure your attendance.

BASIC SEWING FOR KIDS

This is a 6 week basic sewing class designed for kids between the ages of 7-13. This class will cover supplies, sewing definitions, and textiles. You will be able to sew simple patterns by the end of the course, i.e. aprons and pillows. **Supplies needed: Students can purchase a basic sew kit from Hobby Lobby, Hancock Fabrics, or Walmart all should include the following. (Price range from $7.99-$11.99)

AFTER SCHOOL MINI-MODEL SESSION

This is an hour session held on the week day for ages 7-13. The after school mini-model session will focus on etiquette, self-esteem, confidence, health and beauty, and runway. The times for the after school mini-model session are 4pm-5pm & 6pm-7pm and the cost is $25.00 per session.

*Class size is limited therefore registration is on a first come first serve basis. Once capacity is reached, registration for the acting will be closed.
** Some classes require students to bring their own supplies but will be noted within the class description.
