As a plus size model, I have had several challenges in the modeling world. I am looking forward to the day that beauty will be seen for just that and not be judged by my color or how big my butt is! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?

    Cynthia,
I am excited about your venture. I have a daughter that is a mini you in look but 5’3, size one, legs for days and extremely photogenic. She is currently in college in Houston, TX. Do you have a summer session? If not, when is your next casting call? Does your agency accept photos of potential students?

@ Nicole, I totally agree with you & I feel the same way! I was always the “BIG GIRL” of the small gal crew, but one thing I did… I ALWAYS BROUGHT THE “RUCKUS”, I WAS A “ONE” WOMAN SHOW!!!!! & believe it or not Nicole, THE CROWD LOVES US!!! Because we’re different….

We are “ALL FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE…”!!! Keep pushing Nicole!!! We’re about to change the world!!!!!

I’ve always dreamed of becoming an model but i just thought i was too old. I hear all the time from strangers and family members who tell me to pursue my dream but i just don’t believe i’m beautiful as most people may see. Don’t get me wrong i love me and believe in me but the shyness and confidence level has got to go. I just would love for the world to see me as just a women trying to grasp her inner beauty….

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to model. Reminiscing on my childhood days in elementary school, I was always complimented on my legs by my teachers, office faculty and staff, and other parents. “Oh my! Her legs just grow right out of her arm pits!” Having the opportunity to step in the industry has always been a goal I have never gotten a chance to accomplish. The dangers we face today, have deterred me in accomplishing my life long dream goal. I am so thankful for this agency and the possible opportunity to worl with someone who I feel I can trust. Thank you so much Cynthia!

I have ALWAYS wanted to be a model. People always told me that I should because of my size and my height, but I always thought I probably couldn’t be because I wasn’t pretty or confident enough because I’m dark skin. I don’t think like that anymore. Modeling would be such a dream come true. I want to be able to have more confidence in myself self esteem. Cynthia you are truly amazing for this! muah xoxo

my daughter is 5′ 4″ but she is not interested in being a model because she doesn’t feel she could because of her height. would your school provide her with the necessary tools to look more into the different aspects of the fashion industry such as photography or makeup, she is very interested in that?
